Learn About Beef from Pasture to Plate

Are you in food service or retail? What about an Agriscience or Family and Consumer Sciences teacher? If so, then we've got a program that you don't want to miss.

Join us as we take you on a journey from "pasture to plate" where your students or employees can learn all about our favorite protein at Auburn University's state-of-the-art beef cattle teaching facilities. Participate in a live animal evaluation to experience cattle up close and personal while learning about how cattle are raised here in Alabama then tour the Lambert-Powell Meats Lab and watch a team of meat scientists as they fabricate a beef carcass into retail cuts. All the while, you can have your questions answered by industry professionals so you can leave the program with a better knowledge of beef production practices.
