The Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation is proud to launch the Heifers for Youth initiative — a unique opportunity to support the future of Alabama’s beef cattle industry while investing in quality genetics for your own herd. Through this program, supporters can purchase a chance to win two American Simmental Association registered bred heifers, generously donated by Little Mountain Farm of New Market, Alabama. Limited to just 500 chances at $100 each, the winner will have the choice of taking home the two bred heifers or receiving an $8,000 cash payout.
The drawing will be held on Friday, February 19, 2027 in conjunction with the 2027 Alabama BeefPAC Auction at the 84th Annual ACA Convention & Trade Show in Montgomery, AL.
More than just a fundraiser, Heifers for Youth directly supports youth livestock education programs across the state. Proceeds from the program help develop the next generation of cattlemen through hands-on learning opportunities, leadership development and industry involvement. By participating, supporters are helping ensure Alabama’s young cattle producers have the resources and experiences needed to grow into future leaders of the beef industry, while also supporting the mission of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation.
