Butch and Lisa Smathers Scholarship Application

This scholarship is awarded to an Alabama resident who is entering or currently enrolled in a 4-year college; have cattle industry involvement and leadership excellence; plans to have a career in the cattle or meat industry. Preference given to students with work experience in a retail supermarket. Must be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association or have a parent/grandparent who has been a member for at least 2 consecutive years.

Transcript is not required. The application must be submitted on or before November 5, 2023.
