YCLP Class IX Application

Thank you for your interest in the Young Cattlemen's Leadership Program. We want to get to know you more, but first we want to make sure you know some details about our program. Please note, your application must be submitted with a Letter of Recommendation uploaded in the form below. This letter must be written by an alumni of the Young Cattlemen's Leadership Program or County/State Cattlemen's leadership.

This program will be six sessions between May 2022 and February 2023. Most sessions will be begin on a Friday at noon and go until noon on Saturday, with the exception of the first meeting, which happens in coordination with the May Board of Directors Meeting in Montgomery on Thursday, May 12. In order to graduate from the program, you must attend 80 percent of the YCLP programs provided throughout the year and earn your Beef Quality Assurance and Masters of Beef Advocacy certifications.

Deadline to apply is March 15 to be considered for YCLP Class IX.

Are you willing and able to take off six Fridays between May 2022 and February 2023?

You are encouraged to attend the entire convention, but YCLP graduation will be at the awards banquet on Saturday night of the event.
Will you be able to attend graduation at convention on February 18, 2023?

The first session will be May 12-13 in Montgomery at the Cattlemen’s building. This will be our ONLY Thursday session. This session is centered around the May Board of Directors meeting on May 12.
