Funded through private donations and through the sale of cattle industry vanity license plates, the Alabama Cattlemen's Foundation is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation which serves to engage in educational and scientific activities to improve the beef cattle industry in Alabama and educate youth on the importance of beef cattle here in Alabama. The ACF provides a vehicle for individuals to make tax deductible contributions to support educational programs and activities. To get a cattle industry vanity car tag for vehicles with a gross weight of up to 10,000 pounds, visit your local probate office. You do not have to be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen's Association to put a cattlemen's tag on your vehicle.
Throughout the year, ACF funds are given to various events such as the State 4-H Horse Show and the State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest where Alabama youth are rewarded for their interest and hard work in the state's livestock industry.

Each year, over $15,000 in scholarships are awarded to Alabama youth by the Alabama Cattlemen's Foundation.  The ACF also supports The MOOseum which works as a fun and interactive tool to help children learn about all segments of the state's $2 billion beef cattle industry.
